One of the first books i recieved

It’s kinda funny… I was reading through some of my old posts and I couldn’t help but crack a smile at myself those years ago. So… excitable? hell, blogging was new back then and it was a rush of endorphines to purge my soul every night on the keyboard but now… it’s like a grand old tradition… Nobody reads this (of this I’m pretty certain, save for maybe Aileen and my sister) because I could care less about the elements and fun stuff i had on the site now. i have to admit blogging was a kind of a forced intellectual orgy at the height of when i used to write every day, day in and day out. but now it seems a bit more personal. maybe it’s because nobody reads it now, so i can just write whatever? hmm.

Isaac Asimov – How I, Robot gets the science-fiction grandmaster wrong. By Chris?Suellentrop

I’m a sci-fi nerd. I’ll get back to this at some point and write about it. Hopefully.

The pictures you are seeing are random pictures I have uploaded from my phone directly to the webpage. Mostly they are there as reminders in a very Memento-esque way of organizing my life.

I use a service called flcr (directions and guides are on blogger.com– you really ought to read up and use some of the new features they have, it’s great) to upload an image directly to my journal.

Oh, and the pictures of some guy exercising? It’s an exercise bench they have at Walmart for an incredibly low price of 15 bucks, minus the weights.

After my midterm, I stopped by at a Mcdonalds to pick up some food (Am I trying to kill myself?), then went home read some Fark, when I switched on the TV in my room. I Love Lucy happened to be on and I watched an episode in which Lucy and Ethel trick some random woman that she was meeting some famous celebrities by stealing her glasses, and then which Lucy would wear ridiculous looking costumes which was supposed to fool the near-sighted.

Of course the joke is that a real celebrity comes in at the same time Lucy is in the same costume and guest stars and there is this hilarious bit in which Lucy pretends to be a mirror.

I guess the point is that I was amazed at how hard I laughed. I Love Lucy was funny, for then, and for now. You got a white woman who marries a cuban guy with a funny accent who happened to be some sort of musician. You have Lucy wearing ridiculous costumes that predates anything Monica wore fowl related. The way she pantomined her plan to break the woman’s glasses– classic.

Okay time to sleep now.

Whelp, I got a new phone, the Sony t637. I recommend it greatly, as it’s a solid phone with bluetooth support. If you have cingular, you can subscribe to the media works package and get unlimited internet through bluetooth, although slow. I pay 19.99 for the unlimited internet which is around 40.8 bps.

But the thing that gets my panties wet is the ability to post pictures from my phone directly to my blog. No longer will I have to remember anything, I can make reminders to myself to my blog whenever I want. I can make comments and reminders, etc.
